If you call someone on a jail phone and it goes * * BEEP BOOP ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN BE USED AGAINST YOU ETC IF YOU ARE A LAWYER CALL USING YOUR SPECIAL PHONE * * that’s actually pretty good advice and you should not discuss crimes during your call. For some reason the :LIB: s in my life insist that this is just legal bs and I’m being paranoid. And yes, I know these phone systems are scams to punch money out of people trying to talk to their loved ones.

Hopefully this is not news to you. :shrug-outta-hecks:
