Like I don’t get what the big deal is, they’re just people you go to to check on your teeth. It’s just dental hygiene. I also don’t see what they have to do with China, dentists are in every country aren’t they? Seems strange to get worked up about them if you ask me. :afunnyemote:

You joke but there are westerners who call themselves leftist that throw a fit whenever you praise China. Like focus on your own country. Your country is racist, exploits the 3rd world and is rapidly descending into fascism(if not already for some folks) and you are complaining about a country that lifted millions out of poverty over some ideology?
I am anti-dentistry because every time I’ve gone into a dentists office miraculously they find some reason to make me $3,000 poorer; the most recent trip involved turning a small cavity into filling in an entire goddamn tooth with silver after literally saying “Oops” while elbows deep inside my jaw.
I would rather have my humors balanced by a doctor-barber than go back to one of those miserly profit-chasing dentistry charnel houses because at least the leeches are supposed to suck you dry.
E) this is not to say I don’t practice good oral hygiene, I’m like the only person I know who flosses.
Oh yeah just figured out my “What should exist in 2022 but doesn’t” question from c/askchapo.
Low maintenance, natural, and immortal teeth should exist by now, given by outpatient procedures.
