“org” is really not the right word for Black Hammer, the whole thing is essentially a 60s style New-Age cult with updated language.
I would not call them organized. More like driven by uncontrollable megalomania. They were losing members and having other chapters disaffiliate with them for months to the point they were having to trick homeless people into fundraising for them by the end. There was no long term strategy.
These people suck and they aren’t allies in the struggle by any means, but remain highly critical of any reporting on them, especially if it’s from local news repeating statements from law enforcement.
