Definitely plenty of based friends of mine that are still begrudging Harry Potter fans, while recognizing all the issues with the work and Rowling. If consider being a Drake fan way more suspicious, mostly because his music is obscenely uninteresting and Drake is personally rather problematic.

I can tell you from personal experience being raised by a right wing asshole father is damaging.
I don’t think he is irredeemable and want to arm myself with arguments to at bare minimum reduce his transphobia so that at least one member of the future generation is less damaged.
