I love my mother dearly but she is the worlds biggest lib and will never stfu about jan 6
My mom saw her mom and other extended family recently and they wouldn’t stop talking about Jan 6 and acting like the hearings were the most important thing happening, and my mom was like “Why on earth would anyone care about this? They’re not going to do anything!”
Love her, the last two years have turned her from a Hillary Clinton loving lib to “Hang these motherfuckers in the street”
Honestly, if they had succeeded maybe we could have stopped pretending this country is fucking worth anything and we’d just stop paying bills and shit. But the fact they failed and folded so easily and there’s been almost zero repercussions means they are gonna go harder next time.
For me the only notable thing about Jan 6th was how much it showed that chuds have 0 actual ideology. Imagine your political allies storming and overtaking your nation’s seat of power only to sort of like…mill around and take some selifes and then go home. They had nothing to do once they got there because they don’t have any real complaints or actionable ideas.
What’s the issue with Jan 6th? Nothing more american than trying to overthrow a democratic government.
