Feels weird that the strike is being broadcasted for after next month. Is that when the current contract expires?

No, on 18th august they’ll have proposal from biden, than they wait 30 days and can strike afterwards. Even then, congress can just tell them to get back to work

So their method for preventing strikes is months and months and months of bureaucratic bullshit and systems to get through before being allowed? And even then they can just say no after getting past all the bullshit.

Should make changing the bullshit barriers to striking a demand of the strike when they finally do it. Put the blame for the economy stalling firmly in legislative hands out of spite for the entire process and demand they change the strike laws before you’ll get back to work.

The problem of supply chain workers :shrug-outta-hecks: too effective strikes. Dock/train workers can basically break usa (and uk) if they ever do full strike

Prepare your butts for goods shortages. Your local warehouses are going to run out of stock on half their junk when the railcars are stuck in Los Angeles.
