I’ve got a bunch of these but my usual buyer is ghosting me.

Will you accept an in-kind trade of tow rings?

I’d just start cold calling mansion owners and offer them a 1000 smackers a month, take it or leave it.

I can’t believe that an entire catalytic converter is the best choice economically for stealing shit and turning it in to cash.

I dunno that they’re economical, but like copper wiring, they’re there.

You get, what, like 20-30$ for one? The risk seems pretty low bc you can get them off really fast and do it in areas people aren’t likely to hear it. And the cops seem to have it filed under “little people problems” and don’t do anything about it unless they do a big bust. Which is pointless because you need like a 30$ battery angle grinder to steal them in the first place.

it really isn’t people steal them for the platinum but getting that platinum requires a process that if not done properly results in very toxic fumes. (and you’d basically need a lab to do it properly).

The car stereo/radio is right there and worth more while being less dangerous to get.

I watched someone actually process the insides of a converter in to platinum once. The short version is don’t do this you will die of horrific chemical burns.
