I’d rather make my own nice cream with some whey protein mixed in, shit’s delicious, high protein and low calorie
also, the only ingredients I use are frozen bananas, whey protein and milk, either soy or dairy, which means I can now have ice cream for breakfast without feeling guilty about it, it’s just a whey protein shake but frozen
There’s barely a recipe, really… I just slice about half a dozen bananas, freeze them, then put them in a food processor with about 150g of whey protein and add as much milk as it takes to get a soft serve consistency. Then I put it back in the freezer and take a few scoops when I’m craving something sweet.
It’s fully customizable, you can use food flavoring instead of the whey, maybe add honey or peanut butter, blend some other frozen fruit along with the banana, you name it.

I like the Gooey Butter Cake and Buttercream Birthday Cake, my mom liked the Sweat Cream Biscuits & Peach Jam flavor. I think we were both indifferent to Skillet Cinnamon Roll and Salty Carmel (the latter of which she usually likes). It’s definitely very heavy and indulgent, so if you’re sensitive to that I’d recommend some of the simpler flavors without the chunks of cake and all that
