Thought some folks might want to know Vicky 3 releases October 25th.

I always buy the base game, pirate all the dlc. That way you get access to the patches and mods officially.
I rarely have problems doing this for previous releases. Usually when dlc comes out, I download the whole release, which usually comes same day, then install it over my official release and generally it all works. Sometimes the stupid launcher gives you trouble, though. I usually use the launcher to set up the mods, then manually launch the game directly from the install directory.
Too bad we’ll have to pirate it and reinstall multiple times because you KNOW the release version will have problems
Yeah I remember it being very playable at launch. Lots of content that was added to CK2 in DLCs was missing, but I don’t imagine that will be an issue here. I only played Vic2 after the expansions, but I figure all/most of that will probably be baked in since it was only two of them anyway
This is probably my most anticipated game for the year… gonna probably take off work to play it
Last time I was this excited for a game was back in 2020 for Crusader Kings 3.
