They still might! The only thing that stopped them was lib media shutting up about Nazis in Ukraine and elsewhere
I’m not saying it’s the most likely timeline but it feels like maybe #2 or #3 in terms of likelihood. Fascism will attempt to appropriate any signifiers that resonate with a large number of people. And liberals love to play dumb when it lets them trash the left. I’m getting myself mentally and emotionally prepared.
