patsocs haven’t really taken root here. i think we’re culturally too invested in chud-dunking to want to try to emulate them.

For whatever reason, the online Chapo ‘fanbase’ has never really been the quasi-marxian demsocs of the podcast. It’s mostly always been tankies, as long as I’ve known. This is where that subreddit moved to. It was also kind of the only good left sub at the time, the way GZD was more recently.
