Hasn’t Jeffrey Sachs been screaming to high heaven since the mid 90’s that the IMF and the World Bank and the entire neoliberal project is just a smoke screen to hide the plundering that the West is doing via those institutions? I’m fairly confident that one reason he isn’t looked at like a Kissinger type ghoul is the fact that he has spent 20+ years trying to attone for the sins he committed while he was a true believer in Neoliberalism.
