So right now the government pays for it, if your insurance doesn’t cover it. This winter the government is supposed to stop paying for it.

The core of the neoliberal ideology is that the government exists to enforce property rights. Everything else is superfluous to that, and done only because the people might rise up and kill them otherwise. But, if you use the media to gradually undermine all the "please don’t kill us’ policies, you can get away with gradually walking them back
