IMHO this is about as good of a handgun as you can get for the money right now. For people familiar with guns, this is basically a Turkish clone of the Springfield XD, and it takes the widely available P226 magazines to boot. This gun was developed for and used by militaries and police so it has a track record. The model in the listing is also the newer gen 3 version (priced at the same as the gen 2 elsewhere).
Looking in the comments it appears to come with a lot of the extras that Tisas throws in, including two 18rd mags, a paddle holster (plastic, not kydex), and interchangeable backstraps. It has night sights but no optics cut, but who cares. It also has a thumb safety, if you’re into that.
After FFL fee, background, and tax, your out the door cost is probably around $260-270. Really, REALLY solid option for a first gun.

Edit: maybe no thumb safety and just split trigger like Glock
Missed this when it was first posted, but thanks for sharing. Watching a few range test videos it seems like a fine gun, especially for the price. Some people had a few FTF/stovepiping in early mags (which could be just the break-in period, ammo pickiness, or limp-wristing), but to be honest I had the same problems with my Glock the first few mags.
At this price I may get one just to try it out.
