I think people are finally getting too tired to put up with the ways capitalism is hurting us. And then it feels like the US is experience a Streisand effect for communism right now.
Those of us on welfare here in Norway are getting an extra 1k nkr (about 100 euros) this christmas (and if you have kids an additional 1k per child) thanks to the socialist party Rødt pushing it through parliament
It’s not gonna change the world or anything, but it’s definitely going to make the holiday better for a lot of folks here :cat-com:

I know it’s dumb, but I’ve loved Norway ever since I saw Lillehammer. If nothing else, you live in a beautiful place and that’s pretty cool.
Do you mind if I ask what an actual resident thinks of how the show portrays Norway?
Yeah Rødt are generally pretty decent, it’s not like they’re gonna bring on the revolution or anything, but it’s nice to have a party that genuinely gives a shit about workers and the poor.
Oh and I haven’t watched that show since it first aired on tv, but I remember liking it!
That’s really cool having a party you can trust to care. As an American my standards are really low even though I don’t really have the right to complain since we have all that imperial loot.
I just think I’d be so happy if I had a person I could trust to actually care about improving things in government.

Instead of buying coffee grinder I made my own for fraction of cost
I bought the burrs( cutting pieces) off of AliExpress, they were the same as a fairly decent grinder. Machined parts on my neighbours lathe with his help. Took many time but it work. Used power tool motor with gearbox from also AliExpress
