Then said that the US, Russian, and Chinese governments are all secretly banding together to control the world and prevent people from finding out “the truth”. I only overheard bits here and there but these two were talking about China for at least 2 hours. I wonder what other crazy shit she told him

I worked with someone’s whose mom was an immigrant from China. I guess it was getting harder for her mom to travel around or something when she visits family there. She always said China has turned fascist. Her cousin also got questioned by the police and released for being at the Hong Kong protests. In my head “well yeah, if you participate in protests that are calling for the independence of Hong Kong, you’re at least going to get questioned”. But in fascist China they just let everyone go. Galaxy brain takes.
