It is kind of fucking insane that electricity of all things is considered gay and feminine. You’re literally channelling a stream of highly energetic particles at the basic level of our reality. The kind of shit that could kill you before you knew you were dead.
Gas stoves/ovens, as they’re implemented in American homes, are stupid and clearly dangerous. They could be fixed, but absolutely no home owner will actually do so unless someone makes them at gunpoint.
That said I’m gonna stand up for gas ovens as being the ideal way to cook pizza. The American electrical system simply cannot provide the required heat or consistency for optimal pie.
My solution? Communal pizza ovens on every block, constantly firing to provide perfect and safe pies to all.
