They’re saying the explosion will produce some kind of very lethal poison gas which was also used as a chemical weapon in WW1. There is an evacuation area declared around the train.
I wonder if this is something that could have been avoided with proper staffing, safety, and not forcing sick people to show up or lose their jobs.
China has trains that can travel safely over 200 km/h
We have trains that derail at less than half that speed which leads to explosions and clouds of poison gas
But at what cost? (Probably letting train engineers have a day off sometimes)
