WW3 with China is unlikely to happen anytime soon, but the threats will still be very real for the Cold War. I’m actually going through this with my sister and I being targeted by right-wingers in our country. We managed to temporarily get out and stay in nyc with family, but we’re going back to our country later so she can compete in pageants that they’re trying to block her from.

Knowing people is the best option for this. We’ve got family involved with leftist groups that have agreed to protect us when we arrive. Also having a network does wonders too. her work with the lgbt community in our country have given us both even more connections with people that we wouldn’t have otherwise.

But I would advise you to keep it low in the meantime if nobody’s caught on. It’s a very stressful thing to live through and there are times when the building anxiety leads to occasional panic attacks.
