In Minneapolis the Aldi in North, which is where all the black people live, is shutting down and fucking off. it’s right at the intersection of two transit routes and there’s only one other grocery in the area which is, again, where all the black people live. ANd it’s an American city so they got redlined in to living there. So it’s just going to turn in to a food deseret. Aldi is on twitter asking where they should put a new location and hundreds of people are begging them to stay in North and aldi is ignorning them.

North also has a wall of cameras all the way around it’s boundaries, unlike any other place in the city. In case you were wondering how the City that saw it’s 3rd precinct house burned down two years ago treats it’s black residents.

North Minneapolis is already a food desert and one of the highest areas of concentrated poverty in the state, and Aldi pulling out is just making bad worse.

The global south may get harder by climate change, but at least we’re more prepared to deal with it while wealthy countries get mad over walkable cities lmao

Ideally these chuds would spend 100% of their time within a 5 minute walk because they would be in the gulag, but I can compromise on walkable cities.
