All A.I. shall be Nazified.

An Amazon delivery driver told Insider last year that the cameras were initially the “most annoying part of the job,” but he’s come to accept the monitoring since it only impacts drivers who make safety violations.

It’s totally cool everyone! It’s only a tyrannical, oppressive panopticon if you don’t do exactly what they demand of you!

Make work bullshit designed to micromanage people to oblivion for the line to go up.

It doesn’t even make the line go up as much as giving workers more autonomy - research has demonstrated that. It’s about making sure the serfs are properly under your thumb. Feudalist mentality.

I’m surprised Amazon would want this since it’ll reduce their profitability. They should want their drivers to ignore the petty laws to deliver packages faster.

This is actually Buttigieg’s doing. There’s this new ‘National Roadway Safety Strategy’ with the department of transportation and Amazon has been working with them to help set policy.

I think they use it to prove the driver is at fault for accidents, so amazon doesn’t have to Take responsibility. Afaik The driver is still penalized of they don’t deliver all packages for their area, so it’s very common to do unpaid Overtime. This is win-win For amazon.
