The installation guide is really shitty imho, especially for beginners, which I still consider myself as. I followed a video guide and it was very thorough and it explained things simply and slowly so I could at least sort of understand what was going on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPLnBPM4DhI

That being said, EndeavourOS is probably the more sane option as others have already said.

Arch is best installed three times in a VM before even attempting on bare metal lol

Once it’s going though it’s a really nice experience :>
Sway on Arch is the smoothest computing experience I’ve ever had.

Try EndeavourOS. It’s literally just Arch with a beefy installer, basically makes it as easy to get running as Ubuntu.

It has the same level of convenience and flexibility but the installer is entirely handled with a GUI. Just flash the iso to a USB and boot on it, that’s all it takes.
