Turbo Graf-x/ Genesis/ SNES/ NEO GEO are still popular by zoomers in my country. It’s probably because they’re cheap hardware to get and emulation is a lot easier to come across.

i tried to play super mario world last year and i liked it but it was too hard for someone who never really played platformers growing up
