I don’t think that’s entirely the case. We’re there gawking at them, when we want to, and we understand how their messaging works. It’s like a zoo. They prefer working in privacy in their own space or hiding their fascist nature in public spaces to spread message to a broader audience. Here we would already know they are fascist, and therefore discredited, and they couldn’t act in privacy because we are watching them.
a while ago when I was doing the Sigmarxism Discord server (don’t ever run a discord server btw) we had this. People on a behavioral warning were assigned the gulag tag and could only access the gulag channel. To be honest I don’t think it had that big of a positive impact it was just funny watching people impotently post their garbage into a channel noone could see.
I’m not a social scientist or anything but now I think treating people like that breeds resentment and helps create more dedicated trolls with chips on their shoulders, and the better solution is the current ban them but let them slink around on new accounts if they’d like and hope they adjust their posting, otherwise ban them again.
can it be a shadow ban so they just scream into the void replying to non-gulag comments and their posts look like they’re in regular comms but only show up in the gulag
