I miss real ramen-yas. For 700 yen/$7 I used to be able to get a huge bowl of tonkotsu ramen or freshly-caught seafood soba, three gyozas, and a big beer. It was the perfect fast food culture.

Yeah but in America for only twice that much you can get a burger that’s 50% mayo by weight, limp fries, and a large corn syrup.
