- The vampire-like villains that are introduced as a “Team Rocket” stand-in turn out to be named “Landkeepers.” Your companion’s dialogue to this reveal is “These “Landkeepers” seek to profit off of our collective misery!”
- When walking up to one of the Landkeeper’s buildings, a bearded character named “Karl” mistakes you as one of them and challenges you to a fight. After winning, he says something like “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you fight FOR the people, not against them.”
Besides that, it’s a pretty solid game in its own right and has some great innovations on the Pokemon formula.
