Have noticed a definite increase in posts in c/commrequest for subreddit specific comms. Also noticed posts about :libs: flocking to lemmy.
Can we please not? No site specific comms. No posts in the subreddits offering lifeboats.
We’re either going to be outnumbered by libs or awful ideological niche folks that are just going to completely ruin the entire vibe and function of the site.
It happened before (vcj). Don’t let it happen again.
I see no problem with the site being a lifeboat to some subs like TheDeprogram
deprogram gang would fit in with our general culture just fine, sometimes feels like r/deprogram is our new subreddit.
Can we at least make one for users of r/chapotraphouse?
