I saw this movie in the theater and loved it enough to see it 2 or 3 more times during its original run.
I think this makes it cooler tbh. Someone working on that movie decided that was the specific game they needed in an arcade machine instead of lazily picking any given game out there. Hell, they could have gotten similar vibes with an MK machine, but they made a custom prop. That’s cool.
I love this movie. Also shout-out to the Jiffy Pop
