Articles implies something with a mind wrote down words containing semantic meaning. I’m wrestling with, but these math problems can’t think, aren’t aware of the text they output. It’s not speech, it only resembles speech due to mimicry. It’s like a bird mimicking human speech except a bird is intelligent and at least has some degree of understand of the noises it makes, at least of context or novelty or something. The math problems have nothing. It’s inifinite monkeys who have been trained to bang out things that resemble sentences on infinite typewriters.
You think that’s bad now? Just you wait until these things can make diagrams indistinguishable from a real diagram/figure/chart found in a textbook or scientific paper.
Eventually we’ll be seeing things like this without the comical sbubby bepis-ass titles or the creepy zalgo-ass labels. One day they’ll even include fake sources that correspond to actually existing articles with fake data also written by an AI.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and AI will become equally good at telling apart AI written documents and real documents, then the machine learning arms race begins.
Maybe we’ll get lucky
