- A shit ton started disappearing. China’s entire CIA network collapsed
- The US, being as racist as they are, suspected a Chinese American CIA officer was the mole instead of suspecting they were bumbling idiots
- The Chinese American CIA officer “admitted” to betraying the US - but the CIA couldn’t produce any physical evidence that he was indeed the mole
- They convicted him anyway

Once you understand the DC mentality, you understand they play the blame game at every chance. Someone MUST be blamed every time anything goes wrong! This is necessary because to get ahead, others must be destroyed. There’s not enough room for everyone. So they develop this psychopathic tendency to blame someone, anyone, for anything. The advanced ones begin planning the scapegoats before the op even begins.
In reality, they’re not as smart as they think they are and get people killed through incompetence. But they can’t be blamed because that would mean the end of their high-status careers.
