my friends and I went to smoke some weed in the woods by our apartments when we were 17. There were a couple of marines on R/R in there smoking spice (that fake gas station weed that fucks you up, not the cool drug from DUNE) with a girl our age. This was like 13 years ago.
I say this as ex army: marines are the fucking stupidest branch. The most brain washed, brain worm branch in the armed forces and possibly the world.
Routinely on excercises they would have a colossal fuck up and we would watch an entire company or battalion have to get punished. We would point and laugh our asses off at them. One time their (company? First? Idk American terms) Sergeant Major complained about us to our Sergeant Major about it, and ours said maybe if your troops weren’t so fucking dumb, my troops wouldn’t laugh at them. It almost started a fight but cooler heads prevailed (the air force guys were also laughing, and encouraged all parties to chill)
