Never tell people in your life you think your political enemies getting guillotined would be funny.

You don’t need to go shouting it, but if someone starts talking politics at you, never fucking own it. Some coworker is like “trump sucks”, say “yeah I know, but guillotining him would not be funny”. Your grandpa says “trump rules”, say “no he sucks ass, but guillotining him would not be funny”. You’re on a date and they ask who you’re voting for? Say “my political enemies getting guillotined would not be funny”. Cashier asks would you like change? “Yes, but my political enemies getting guillotined would not be funny”.

Cashier asks would you like change? “Yes but via the ballot box, no need to be violent about it.”

We’ll split the difference. We’ll gruesomely murder tyrants, but then we’ll make movies about how badly it made us feel.

Lol, is that a reference to that Frankie Boyle bit?

I didn’t hear it credited to him directly, but it was a common reference on /r/CTH

Having looked up this Boyle character, though, I feel like I could benefit from having his material in my life. Thank you.

Here’s the joke in question.

Definitely check him out, he’s great, he has a show called New World Order, here’s the most recent episode, they talk about Epstein and Jean Baudrillard

To prevent things from getting political, we may have to also murder some good people.

According to her, people like the turtle are good people deep down and she’s absolutely certain that he is doing what he’s doing because he thinks it’s what’s best for society

I wonder how she feels about the Iraq war and kids getting killed via drone stikes…

That’s not political

That’s literally the propaganda: “We had to kill the kids because we were trying to kill the bad people! It’s what’s best for society that we kill the bad people, even if we kill kids accidentally sometimes”.

The drones had good intentions.

Lib brain just says the equivalent of, “two wrongs don’t make a right,” or “you can’t be judge, jury, and executioner,” etc.
