I imagine there’s a fairly significant crossover between people posting here and people who are members of the SRA already or who are planning on joining, and so I felt like it might be prudent to remind everyone to be moderately paranoid. If you’re going to identify yourself as an SRA member, make sure you’re not posting any personally identifiable information using this account.

Additionally, I’d highly recommend using different, unconnected user names, so that your account on here is harder to link to a specific account on the SRA user forums.

It might not be all that big a deal, at least for the moment, but I mean, have you looked at the government lately? They’re pushing really really hard to, for example, label “antifa” as a “terrorist organization” despite the logical absurdity of the concept. So, it’s not all that far-fetched that the feds might come after a relatively large, explicitly leftist, explicitly pro-shooty org for some cheap optics, and you might as well not give them any more to go on than you absolutely have to.

Okay this has been a PSA from your resident nagging matron. You may go about your business.
