OpenCritic and MetaCritic both have ridiculously high aggregate scores for it. Early reviews tend to generally be higher but an average 97 score from 95 critics is probably the best I have ever seen.

I am reading that it is easier to get into compared to other From Software titles. When playing the network test I didn’t get this feeling. But either way I highly recommend giving the game a try if you haven’t played a Souls game before. It is an entirely new story and the lore from what I am hearing is very rich. And the gameplay is tight as always. If you don’t want to buy you can even pirate it once it has been released provided your PC can run it. I don’t think it is using Denuvo.
