Maybe I’m worrying over nothing but it’s pissing outside and I don’t wanna make the poor delivery guy run through the rain
But it’s Sunday and I have no food at home so idk
Edit: I’m not in the US so we don’t have the obscene american tipping culture. I did order it and for some reason it took over 80 minutes and by the time the delivery guy came it wasn’t raining anymore. He apologized for the delay and I still gave him a tip, so everyone’s happy o/
Btw Pizza with broccoli, asparagus and hollandaise sauce is actually quite good, shoutout to vegetarianism
They’re working, and would be working anyway. Throw a rain bonus on the tip and express gratitude in the special instructions.
I didn’t do delivery very long, but when I did tips were the only thing which made it worth doing. A shift with few orders doesn’t eat any less of the driver’s time. As long as it isn’t hazardous (snow, hurricane, fire, etc) I wouldn’t feel bad. Just take care of your working class comrades.
The one exception may be calling in an order 15 minutes before closing. Some drivers don’t mind snagging an extra run, but I always wanted to get the hell out of there by closing time.
I’ve delivered pizza for almost ten years no. Please do. I’m hungry as well and need your fucking money. Don’t call in an ice storm though. Those people can’t drink bleach for all I care.
Glad I’m not the only person who thinks about this, a lot. Even when I go through a drive thru, I end up apologizing if I ask for some extra sauce or something, because I feel guilty about their working conditions and feel somewhat complicit.
fuck yeah, finally someone to blame for having worked at wendy’s for two years. you fucking fuck.
