Hi all. I’ve got six cucumber plants in two 5-gallon containers on my sunny balcony. So far this season they’ve only made a disappointing 4 viable cucumbers. Now, the male flowers out number the female flowers 10:1. Any advice?

20200815 Update - Looks like it just took patience. I’ve got a handful of cucumbers now! Looking forward to more.
20200801 Update - Did a bit of research and here is what I found. Male cucumber flowers bloom before the female flowers do. Fingers crossed that this is what I am seeing with my plants and soon I will be seeing lots of female flowers. Will post updates. Also, one source said that keeping fruit on the vine will inhibit the formation of female flowers. So I clipped those 4 early cuccs.
