Kavanaugh would absolutely vote this way, he proved that when he didn’t uphold this decision already when he voted against granting lgbt people workplace protections.
It’s Gorsitch and Roberts who will uphold this stuff, and Roberts will only vote this way because he’s an institutionalist who fears the supreme court losing all legitimacy so he will uphold precident. Gorsitch is also just a weirdo institutionalist, in that he found a textualist argument for LGBT rights in the civil rights act.

Libs aren’t going to get violent about anything. At the end of the day, most of them are middle class or wealthy and have that privilege. This will be an inconvenience of them but they’ll convince themselves that all they have to do is vote to reverse it.

Imagine thinking libs have been at the forefront of any political change in this country. They take credit for it, but they aren’t the movement out in the streets.

Guarantee you the large majority have historically voted Democrat and identified as liberal at the start of the year and most of them still do now.
