Funnily he was terrible during the world series, also got injured trying to steal a base (hopefully not permanently) and played throught it not getting a single hit after that.
In 5 world series games, ohtani with 20 ABs only had 2 hits (1 xbh) and 2 walks for a 105/227/158 batting line, only beaten by max muncy which went hitless in 15 ABs for a comically bad 000/200/000 line.
Poor Ohtani and Judge super choked during that series. It was fun to watch, and at least the other stars like Betts and Freedman came out swinging, but i was kind of hoping to see more from those two, especially as someone who only barely casually follows the sport during the regular season.
Hololive, the virtual idol company made one of those marketing deals with the Dodgers to get some of their top talent featured at that game. It featured some of those coordinated drone light shows set to some of their talents music, and peaked with Goomba singing “take me out to the ball game”
All in all a very fun time.
