Imagine everything you’re angry about now

Now imagine being able to do even less about it

Fuck yes.

I’d hop on puberty blockers asap, get on HRT as soon as possible, get the legal stuff out of the way, and get my ADHD diagnosed and treated. My parents were pretty good about listening to me, but I didn’t know what was wrong with me and so could not articulate the exact help that I needed. Knowing what I know now eliminates that problem, and so with their help I could tackle the root causes of my misery. Getting both these problems treated as a kid/teenager instead of in my 20s would’ve drastically altered the course of my life for the better. Getting all those lost years back would be nice too.

The outside world would still blow, but navigating it with a sound body and mind is vastly preferable to the alternative.

Do I get to alter the course of my life, or am I stuck watching destiny unfold
