Dear Right to Repair

I have a 10 year old dumb phone (keypad phone).

Has anyone unlocked their dumb phone ?

If so, could you tell me how you did it please ?

Yours sincerely ROMMMELLL

If it’s a Nokia the unlock pattern was the (top left or top center) menu button first, * after. Maybe other competitors follow this pattern too.

Depends on the specific model, and you’ll probably need a specific key from the provider it’s locked to.

Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde “oem” parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.
