There really is no point to monogamy other than to feed one’s ego and aspiring to have your own children over adopting is its own form of eugenics.
The concept of the nuclear family shouldn’t be discarded entirely. I’ve never understood why the concept seems unpopular with the chapo community. It’s existed in some form all throughout history and familial bonds will never go away. More left rhetoric should be based around it and how capitalism is eroding this most basic block of communities. The left should also talk more favorably about religion, or at least not with antipathy. Socialism is a movement for the working class and the working class by and large considers religion important in their lives. If we don’t meet them where they are and then amiably sway and educate them (about anything) than we’re no better than the tut-tutting, finger-wagging liberals scolds. Similar to how fascists would co-opt leftist rhetoric, leftists should co-opt their obsession with aesthetics. People will be more willing to listen to you if you got drip, even if they don’t know it. There’s a reason why the image of scrawny bandanna-ed white kids throwing bottles and the “cringe feminist SJW” are pushed so hard by rightoids. Appearance isn’t everything, but it’s not nothing.
Anglos should be forced to learn Russian before they talk about the USSR. (Negative or positive.) Everyone else can go off on whatever wild tangents they want. But Anglos should only be allowed to do it if they can prove they can at least watch Russian Winnie the Pooh without subtitles
Cricket as a sport is cool and good. Enjoyable to watch and play, yes some games last 5 days and even then that might not give you a winner, but that’s part of the charm, also T20 is a thing where the games last like 2.5 hours and are much more fast paced.
There is also something very revolutionary in Britain colonising half the world, teaching the locals a game because they’re bored, and then getting beaten by them.
The way we think about age of consent (and perhaps more broadly adulthood) is fucking stupid. What matters is not whether a person has crossed any arbitrary line in age, but the relative power dynamics created by being underage. For example, I was with a 19 year old co-worker when I was 16. This was the only mutually beneficial relationship I was in through high school I would say. Not saying that always works out for everyone, but isn’t that obviously less of a problem than an 18 year old with someone in their mid twenties for instance?
