I’m supposed to work in DC overnight lmao. The project was scheduled last year when there was no expectation of civil unrest at all and they haven’t considered the prospect since then.
Ask if your boss if you should bill additional life insurance directly to the project or if it’s an indirect expense for the company 👊🏿🦾
I work for a big company, my boss actually is concerned but it’s not always easy to get a response from people higher up that live far away. He can cancel it though if shit turns out dicey. It’s one of those dumb things like when you run out of sick time and you’re not allowed to call out so you just come in to work and then go home sick. He can’t postpone it but if we show up and there is unrest, he can send us home for safety concerns. If I had to guess this is for contract reasons.
