Are you suggesting Gramsci is a bad read?
You should read Gramsci, he’s definitely pretty clear on his analysis of Gramsci. His prison notebooks are all about Gramsci’s ideas, so I’d recommend them if you already have some basis in reading theory
Gramsci is pretty clear on his analysis of Gramsci? I think maybe you meant someone else perhaps? Or maybe I am just missing something.
Definitely get a secondary analysis of Prison Writings. Otherwise it’s a lot of trying to decipher that wordy 19th century language. That’s on top of Gramsci having to use a lot of code words because he was writing it as basically a political prisoner, and had to get it past the guards and to his wife.
