I didn’t see any communists on the ballot so I wrote in the only one I could think up off the top of my head.
Hillary Rodham Clinton. That facebook meme I saw of her and Stalin with a hammer and sickle definitely left an impression on me.
Gloria wasn’t an option in my state, so I didn’t have to decide, but I’m still not sure I would have if I could have. I listened to a 45 min interview with Gloria during a third party town hall and… well, to say this nicely, she’s got Biden brain. Kept on calling the interviewer by the wrong name, and a different one every time, lol. Howie was actually able to talk about left ideas sufficiently coherently that the lib interviewer eventually ran out of stupid questions.
Right, I’m voting for an organization, which is why I didn’t vote for PSL, which doesn’t have a formal organization in my state.
As to the party structure of PSL nationally, I lived through the 2012 PFP nomination debacle… and given the role PSL played in that, it’s fair to say I’m skeptical of PSL’s organization as well. I also don’t think it speaks well of WWP/PSL’s internal democracy that they’ve been nominating the same person for president for 30 years, and are continuing to do so long after her “best by” date.

Some listener submits an insanely stupid “what about national socialism and the Soviet Union” question, that’s unfortunately exactly the kind of thing a socialist candidate will have to handle in the US, and her response is that there weren’t many deaths there (meaning the Soviet Union, but sounding like Holocaust denial in the context of the question). I just think she’s lost a step in her old age, and Howie does a better job making the case.
Defended her to the hilt, obviously, in front of the libs, but I don’t think I have to do that here.

I talked this over at brunch with my platonic life mates with whom I’m currently podding with. Howie is the only sane choice: he’s the most electable.
My ballot had 3 political parties to choose from. You can probably guess which one was the third. What a farce this voting is. “Now he understands the game.”
