A bit of advice I received prompted me to change my resume and start non hunting again. Also helped with the imposter syndrome some.

Switching from Cloudflare DNS to NextDNS.

And probably other stuff too, but I donโ€™t remember.

Nah swap to dns.adguard.com . Has all the benefits and built in ad/tracker blocking.

Whats the reason that made you move away from cloudflare?

NextDNS gives me more control. It can do stuff like ad blocking, tracker blocking and rewrites (same as /etc/hosts). It has many blocklists available.

Disadvantage is limit of 300,000 DNS queries/month on the free account, but itโ€™s enough for personal use.

However, where DoT or DoH isnโ€™t available, I still use 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare).
