I’ll take the mindlessness of physical labor over the mindlessness of clerking any day. The only thing that keeps me away from blue collar work are the abusive bosses.
On like a commercial farm? No. On a smaller scale family farm? Yes, for a summer. There are a lot of times I wouldn’t mind going back to it if I didn’t have a ton of student loan debt in order to not have to deal with corporate bullshit.
I worked on my grandmother’s farm in a gulf coast state and it sucked absolute cheesy ass and I actually like physical work. There is a reason they had to kidnap Africans by force and use undocumented immigrant labor for that shit. Hell no!
