This might be a crazy theory but I can’t help but feel that this reaction is because the Centrist Dems know that, because of their reduced majority in the house, they will need to depend on DSA-endorsed members to pass bills without Republican support - and, consequently, the Centrists are trying to lay the foundations for continuing the odious notion of ‘bi-partisanship’
