I think that’s more an issue of dork Hexbear users being way too online and not knowing when to stop naval gazing so hard.

A while ago, someone suggested having a second instance that federates with everyone, and that instance be the only one hexbear federates with. Like a demilitarized zone. I think it has merit, even though it’s probably means much more work for the admins and more server overhead
I don’t think it’s that much more work if the sanctuary instance doesn’t have a single comm. So, if you are logged on with the sanctuary account, you would see nothing under local and only Hexbear posts under All. The real work is vetting accounts that get created in the sanctuary instance. Most likely, account creation would be completely closed and only open to older Hexbear accounts with good standing.
This is a new era of dunking and I am so here for it
