I like this girl at work but haven’t asked her out. I keep reading (on reddit, yes i know) that dating co workers is a terrible idea because if things go bad you have to see that person everyday still.

I then wanted to just be friends with her but a part of me thinks i’ll regret it if only be friends. Also that itd be dishonest to be friends with her when I’m interested.

Then if rejected I have to see the girl that rejected me everyday. Ofc i wouldn’t care over time, but still would be weird.

I don’t know what I want, let alone figure out what to do. I think about how silly this is the top of my worries. Send help

In my job hook-ups and relationships among coworkers are very common, and they all (mostly) act cool afterwards.

The potential problem of start dating a coworker is a bad break up, but not rejection; unless you are like “they didn’t want to catch some drinks with me so now I will be forever sour against them”, which means you are probably 13 yo and you should be in school not at work.

You really gotta make sure, before you commit, that she isn’t a russian bot. I mean you should pull her aside and just ask because russian bots must legally lie to you about it.
