It will never not be funny to me how easy it is to pull off the, “I’m being censored/canceled” and still having a massive platform given to them almost immediately. That type of story sells so easily, and it’s incredible how similar the situations all are. So many of them confuse criticism with being canceled, but they go on about freeze peach, without seeing the irony in complaining and trying to shut down people telling them how much they suck.

Both try to lull you in with the same deep, theatrical dishonesty and faux self-deprecation, grab you and point you in the direction they desire with the same pretense of urgency, both shift the blame from themselves to their victims to prepare you for that craved mask-off moment that, of course, always comes with plausible deniability if you “view it in context” that they’ve just manufactured themselves.
